Special Needs Summer Camp

Ages 5–12 · 8 Weeks · June & July 2026

Small-group enrichment programs designed for neurodivergent children ages 5–12.

Each 3-day session offers a structured schedule of sensory play, movement activities, creative projects, and social experiences in a therapeutic play environment.

Participants rotate through guided activities led by trained staff in a supportive, low-ratio setting.

Calliope Liamis Gomez, MBA, OTR

A lead occupational therapist with 13+ years of experience working with neurodivergent children and young adults across diverse settings. Calli adopts play-based and neuroaffirmative approaches, providing children with opportunities to build confidence, strengthen social connections, and thrive in a fun, sensory-friendly environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages are accepted?
Children ages 5–12 as of June 1, 2026.
Can I register for only one week, or skip a week?
Yes! You can register for just one week and choose the weeks that work for your family.
What will the student-to-teacher ratio be?
Our camp will be staffed to accommodate a 3:1 ratio.
Can my child's therapist or aide attend?
Yes! We welcome any and all therapists or support staff to attend the camp, for part or all of the day.
Will you offer lunch or snacks?
Snacks will be provided and we ask that children bring their lunch. Refrigeration, heating, and assistance with preparation or eating will always be provided.
What if my child isn't potty trained, or needs medicine?
No worries! Our staff is trained to help with toileting and distribution of medicine.
What is the cancellation policy?
Access to Joy understands that circumstances arise. If 2 weeks advance notice is provided before the start of a camp session, a refund will be processed at 100% of the registration amount less any fees (approx. $12 per session). Notice given between 1–2 weeks will receive a 50% refund less fees. Less than 1 week notice is subject to no refund. If we are able to fill the spot from our waiting list, a 50% refund will be provided.
